It’s been a great month – again, went by so fast!

Where did April go?

So, I look at my blog and see that I am already a month behind…woah!

Some great memories with the little man – he does have his moments (crying…and wanting to join us at the table)

Kaleigh played with some puppies…the boys loved finding eggs…

 

I think that Allison found all her eggs.  Nathaniel was Baptized the week after Easter.

Mid-March-Madness

Shhhhh! It’s not a secret that Mommy Rocks (see shirt), nor is it a secret that Daddy shaved for Cat-in-the-Hat appearances…but sometimes we just have to let the boy sleep so that we can be up to other mischief like…

Thanks to my trusty assistant, Thing 1, we were able to go beyond the library and visit Praise 106.5 FM. Allison celebrated her first teen birthday with some friends. Kaleigh decided to allow a hole to insert her straw for drinking…without having to open her mouth.

Mid-February Update

As far as we can tell – he is still our little cutie…

    

Nathaniel’s first bath was great – and it was bright & sunny when we headed out of the hospital on Feb 3 (his due date).

Definitely felt welcome at home – and looking forward to placing him in the cradle that his Great-great Opa made – all out of wood!

Happy Birthday, Nathaniel Adrian Vandenberg!

Surprise!

We decided to come in a few days early so we could see our little bundle of boy – at 11:18 a.m. this morning, Nathaniel Adrian Vandenberg was born!

He weighed in at 9lb 11oz and 21 inches long.

Mom is recovering and we are looking forward to bringing home our little man sometime later this week.

Memories with the Meyer side of the family…

First of all, don’t entrust smelly markers to certain individuals.

All are expected to participate in games – including pregnant individuals and expert actors (death throws, very impressive, Mark)

Nothing like a little Sjuelbak throughout the evening festivities.

The “Name Game” was also done at both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day festivities. I am still laughing (for some reason) at someone writing down “Tante Truus”.
